Mihuti Kenya Espresso
93 points (1/2013)

Blind Assessment:Evaluated as espresso. Deep, sweet-toned aroma: dark chocolate, butter, leather, a hint of pineapple. In the small cup the pineapply fruit note moves forward and dry anise and cedar notes complicate the sweet chocolate. The buttery smoothness of the aroma reasserts itself in a very persistent, complex finish. Rather light, lightly syrupy mouthfeel. Very fine in three parts milk: buttery chocolate, pineapply fruit, richly balance.

Who Should Drink It:  An engagingly aromatic and complex straight shot that develops with balance and rich nuance in cappuccino-sized milk.(coffeereview.com)

Notes: Despite grower discontent and urban encroachment on prime coffee lands, Kenya continues to produce some of the world's most elegant and distinctive coffees. AA is the highest grade of Kenya coffee based on bean size and freedom from defect.
